In the fall of 1998, moviegoers were introduced to two different takes on life in the insect world, almost simultaneously. DreamWorks released Antz, its first ever animated feature, just seven weeks before Pixar debuted A Bug’s Life. Interestingly, cult N64 classic Buck Bumble released on the exact same day as A Bug’s Life. Nearly 30 years later, Buck Bumble received an N64 re-release by modernized console manufacturer ModRetro.
